A magnificent beech tree takes centre stage in this high-quality fine art print from one of my watercolour originals. On a bright, crisp winter day the leafless branches stand out dark against a clear cold sky. Bright green moss grows up the side of the thick, fluted trunk and over the heavy roots which have grown along the ground. The surrounding woodland seems to have opened out into a clearing around this grand old tree, the pale trunks of silver birch fading into a misty background. A rich deep red-brown carpet of fallen leaves covers the ground beneath, achieved by spattering and splashing watercolour over a base wash of colour.
This is a professionally printed reproduction on 255gsm acid free fine art paper using pigment based inks. Slightly under A4 in size, it fits readily-available standard 10"x7" (approximately 25 x 18cm) aperture mounts. Prints are delivered unmounted and unframed so you can select a mount and frame to suit your own taste and décor.
