Meet the maker Deborah
My love for clay began with a Saturday workshop called 'Going Potty'. Eight years later and 3 City & Guilds certificates under my apron (Thank you 'Potty Angela') I have proudly graduated to setting up my own workshop and am deliciously up to my elbows in glorious mud. My work is both hand built and thrown, using a variety of clays, oxides, slips and glazes, which are then fired to earthenware or stoneware. At present I am enjoying experimenting and developing ideas using textures whilst making things that are fun and functional for my Folksy shop.
