Meet the maker
My background is woven textile design and I have been working in this industry for nearly 20 years. During my spare time I compete my horses, and as I have an interest in good quality textiles, used to despair at the bad quality fabrics used for riding stocks. Even although my background is woven textiles, I do have a love for print and once I started making my own riding stocks, I would get requests from friends, then friends of friends, and so Top Stocks was born!
I am constantly sourcing new and exciting designs, in the best quality natural fabrics, taking inspiration from Liberty, Arts and Crafts, Art Nouveau and Art Deco movements, all classic British design, which sit well with the styling of traditional equestrian clothing.
The range of products has grown to supplement the stocks and I really enjoy weekend trips way with my tradestand to various horse trials in Scotland and the north of England. Winter is spent frantically sewing while the horses have their winter break!
