Meet the maker Helen Seth

I've been crafting in one form or another since I was a small child, I was 12 the first time I did a craft fair, and over the years I've either done masses of crafting or none at all depending on how hectic the rest of my life has been. I have recently returned to felting after doing some with my daughter and realising how much I have always enjoyed it.

As a busy stay at home mum to two children with disabilities, I love the way that an hour or two at the dining room table can both be my 'me time' and also create beautiful objects that others (hopefully) will enjoy.

I am inspired by colour and texture and the natural world. I also love the feel and the process of making the felt itself. I am also inspired by my wonderful mother who, after retiring from teaching, has created a whole new career as a textile artist.
