Meet the maker Sarah Mortimer

I work as part of the learning team in a museum in York and when I'm not there there's nothing I like better than to sit and sew. I only started sewing again (since childhood) a few years ago with the idea of making my own clothes, but once I got started on toys there was no stopping me! I have since been distracted by making Victorian costumes for the museum where I work, and actually made a couple of dresses for myself!

Payment: I only accept payment through Paypal. You can pay through Paypal using your debit/credit card without having to register with them; they accept most credit/debit cards.

Shipping At the moment I ship items in the UK only and aim to dispatch all orders within three days of receiving confirmation of payment via Paypal. All items are sent by Royal Mail via 1st class post. However, if you live outside of the UK and are interested in a particular item then please message me and I'll see if we can work something out. Items are not insured but I save the proof of postage receipts. I try to recycle packaging whenever possible, but your purchases will always be securely and carefully packaged – don’t worry.

Refunds I want you to be 100% happy with your purchase and so, if for any reason you are not happy with your purchase or it gets damaged in the post please let me know before leaving any negative feedback. I will happily offer to fix the item for you or send out a replacement. Failing that I will offer you a full refund (note that this doesn't include postage sorry.) Customers are responsible for the return postage, so bear in mind that you will need to obtain proof of postage - keep your receipt as I will accept no responsibility for any items unfortunate enough to be lost in the mail.
