Meet the maker Laura Pyke

Hello and welcome to my folksy shop! My name’s Laura and I live in the East Riding of Yorkshire. I set up my handmade card and gift business in September 2011 after making paper products for myself and friends for many years. I know that communication has changed so much in the last few years as technology has developed, but I still believe that paper is important. I developed my business ‘say it’ because I want to encourage people to say what they want to say by sending a card or gift. Not that tweets and texts aren’t good too, but I find it so exciting to get post through my letter box. Why not make it extra special by sending something handmade? Whether it’s for a birthday, a thank you, or just a little something to say hi, treat someone you know to a ‘say it’ card or gift. Go on, make someone’s day!
