Meet the maker Sue Young

My name is Sue. I am a part-time student trying to complete BSc in Environment Science and this year is my final year. I like colorful things. I like how colors stimulate the brains and changing our moods.

I get my inspiration from my nephews, nieces and my especially my own children. They are so bold and adventurous when it comes to dressing themselves. These children don't care about what the others think. They just wear what they think looks good on them and this, I find incredibly admirable.

My shop is called recyclastyle. My concept is to reuse, recycle and to restyle everything I make. Every item I produce must combine with something used/recycled = upcycled. Right now, I am making T-shirts with a cuddly toy attached to them. They can wear the T-shirt to show off their toy. They can also hold it in their hands, play with it and cuddle it everywhere they go.

The materials I used are 100% cotton. They are printed full of fabulous colorfuls. I scour the charity shops for offcut materials/fabrics and out of fashion clothes which I then reuse to make the soft toys.

I hope you like the things I made. All my t-shirts are machine washable and durable. I am happy to personalised any toy you preferred. It would be my pleasure to try something new. Thank you for browsing my shop.
