Meet the maker

Hello from Oxford or Suffolk - I could be in either! I am an Oxford girl - born and bred - but my husband was in Suffolk when I found him - so we travel between the 2 at the moment!
I have 3 adult children, who all live at home, along with 2 dogs - Fred the beagle/bassett/poodle cross and Molly the aging and poorly black poodle.
I was a children's physio in a past life, but gave it up when I wasn't able to commit to living at either end of the country! To keep my mind busy I set up Stockton Crafts (www.stocktoncrafts.co.uk) selling knitting and crochet materials amongst many other things. Learning how to set up and run an internet business has been a very steep learning curve, but I think it is all coming together now.
In my spare time I can't sit and do nothing, so I knit and crochet, and make rugs, bears and jewellery. The idea is to sell some of those things on Folksy - mostly so that I get a good excuse to make more :)
