Meet the maker jobes

Tired of the rat race, I was spurred into re-embracing my artistic and creative side by family, friends and two very, very helpful and experienced jewellery artisans. I've always loved and enjoyed designing and creating and all these people inspired, encouraged and supported me into to taking that big step to devote my time to the wonderful and rewarding craft of artisan jewellry and and the setting up of a new business - orquidea gems originals (ogo); thanks all from the bottom of my heart!

I have a passion for water, so it is often an influence somewhere in many of my ideas and designs, either the name and/or theme; just as well as I love all shades of blue, although I try very hard to use the rest of the spectrum too! I obtain most of my materials locally if I can and quality of them is important to me so that I can pass on that quality to you.

I chose the name orquidea because orchids are one of my favourite flowers and Spain is close to my heart. I love this work and it is the hidden ingredient in my creations!

All items listed in my shop are designed and created by me in my workshop in the UK.

♦Items listed are nickel free, hypoallergenic copper core silver, copper, brass, copper core gold,or Sterling Silver. Where Sterling Silver is used, this will be specified in the item's listing. Where copper core silver ear wires are used, I am happy to replace them with Sterling Silver (925) for an additional charge of £2.00 (as at 18 January 2013) upon request - please contact me prior to purchase at quoting the item name so that arrangements can be made.
