Meet the maker Odette Pineger

Hello, my name is Odette Pineger.

I simply adore fabrics and fibres and have been addicted to them ever since I was little. My lovely Mum Violet, was my best teacher. She simply made EVERYTHING. I loved turning the handle on her Singer sewing machine for her and I would always find a little sewing kit in my stocking at Christmas so I could make purses and stuffed animals on Christmas day by the fire. More recently my friend and textile artist, Claire has been such an inspiration.

I also enjoy recycling or upcycling so I try whenever possible to combine the two.

I retired early from teaching and this hobby gives me such pleasure. I love learning techniques and skills that are new to me and the list is endless. Who knows what I shall be making soon? I go to bed thinking up my next idea and it helps me get to sleep!

I shall post items first class to the UK and by air mail to the rest of the world. I take care and time to wrap parcels carefully and I use recycled paper, card or shoe boxes.

I am happy to give a full refund if you are not happy with the order.
