After studying Graphic Design & Illustration and a brief spell in book design, I was gripped by the travel bug and wanted to do my own thing, so I spent a couple of years making and selling my “I like list” t’shirts from a stall at Portobello Market, and to shops in the UK and Australia.

I opened my first online shop in 2007 selling my little wooden books (which became known as mrs eliot books), and since then my collection has grown to include prints, cards and homewares.

I like to bring different kinds of products to the shop but the style and inspiration is distinctive. I like bright colour palettes, and layering textures to add depth, breaking down the detail into shapes and colour and pattern. I also like the quirkiness of random words and cut-up conversations.
I find inspiration everywhere, from seeing a random shape out of the corner of my eye to children's games and toys from 60s and 70s.​

​I wholesale my prints and cards to stockists around the world, always happy to work with shops to create custom card sets and exclusive I Like list prints.
My style has naturally evolved into pattern design and I now also license my designs for print.

If you're intrigued about the name, when I was at art college The Middle Age of Mrs Eliot by Angus Wilson was the first book I bought from the second-hand shop to tear up and use in my work. Sorry Mr Wilson.

I have exhibited my work in London, where I live with my husband and two boys.​

I usually post orders within 48 hrs of receiving payment but I'll be in touch with a shipping date if this is not possible (half term, sick kids etc!).

Re combined shipping: Due to the different sizes and weights of my items I can't list combined shipping prices, however I do offer it. If I pack items together I always refund a suitable amount via paypal so you won't ever pay twice.
