Meet the maker Araminta Fogden

Hello, my name is Araminta, but Minty for short.
I've been drawing since I was a girl, drawing on books, drawing on walls, making presents in pictures and words.

I took Art as a GCSE, and A level, then did my BA multi media art degree at Hereford art college, loved every minute of it!

When I graduated I sold etchings in 6/7 galleries about the three counties, and even opened up my own gallery in Tewkesbury. But when I found out that I was preggers
with twins, already having a son, I made the decision to close and become full time mum, which I love.

However, I've always kept painting and drawing, not as much as I used to, but enough to keep me sane, and when I heard about Folksy, I thought I'd give it a go! It's
such a wonderful website.
