Meet the maker monica turner

I'm a mum of four boys, who wanted to pursue a hobby which I could do at home and fit around my family commitments. I have always had an interest in fashion and as well as the high street brands, like items that are a bit different.

I started making baby shoes as I thought that a lot of the shoes on offer were very plain or leather. After looking for patterns and tutorials I decided to make the cutest baby shoes/boots in jazzy fabrics for family and friends.

I use premium cotton and line the shoes with soft eco felt and the boot with warm fleece. Ultra suede is another fabric that I use as it is very soft and washable.

Feed back has been very encouraging and I was asked if I would make dribble bibs as well. I have now added bibs to my collection in the same premium fabrics with a soft bamboo fleece backing.
