Meet the maker Janet Allinson
One day I made a cat; a cat with odd vintage button eyes and a surly mouth and I had found what I most wanted to do.
Each of the cats I make is completely unique and are priced according to the amount of work that has gone into them. I design and draw up my own patterns and like to use a mix of recycled felts, vintage buttons and interesting fabrics. All the cats are weighted slightly with dried rice, so it's important not to get them wet. But you can keep them clean with an occasional gentle wipe over with a fabric wipe, taking special care around the embroidered areas. I work on a 1970s Jones electric sewing machine and do not mass produce at all. I do try to keep prices reasonable so my cats are affordable for all pockets - so shops please note there is no trade price or discount on large orders. If you would like to find out what I'm up to, check out my blog at: http://millicraft.blogspot.co.uk/
POSTAGE - first class by Royal Mail and items are posted within three working days, usually the same day as the order. Where possible I like to use recycled envelopes, but I ensure the cats are well protected inside and the envelope itself is secure.
RETURNS - I do hope you are pleased with your purchase, but if you are not you can return it for a refund provided it is within one week of purchase and it is in the good condition it left me in.
