Meet the maker Beth

Full time mum and part time crafter. Mum to 2 gorgeous children, the inspiration for my work.
Have been crafting for over 30 years and enjoy sewing, knitting and crochet particularly.

The name 'Maisie Moon' is inspired by my daughter's name and the fact that I tend to craft by the light of the moon- when my babies are in bed:)

I live in the heart of West Yorkshire, the old 'Heavy Woollen' district and I think the atmosphere of the place ( or genes inherited from my grandad who was a wool mill manager) has had a huge influence on me as I adore working with wool and textiles!

Over the last few months it has become apparent that my little man ( almost 3 years old) finds talking very difficult and this is making life very tough for him. His friends are all talking around him and he is unable to join in and the world is a scary place to him. My crafting has always been hugely inspired by my children and now even more so, as my crafting endeavors are helping to fund vital extra speech and language sessions my son needs to make the world a much less scary place for him.
