Meet the maker

Welcome to my shop - this is a new venture for me so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that people like my jewellery.

Here's the story of how it came about - last summer I helped to organise and run a charity camp in Kosovo, during my travels I visited a small workshop where filigree artists showed me their amazing skills twisting and crimping the finest detailled silver items. Watching them work I was inspired to sketch some jewellery ideas and commissioned them to make these for me. These items are exclusively made for me and in very small quantities to keep them special and unique.
The name lula comes from the name for flower in Kosovo, its one of the few Albanian words that I seemed to have no problem remembering whilst I was out there. I like the way it sounds when you say it which is why I've changed the spelling to reflect the pronunciation.
This business is in the early stages so I don't have loads to sell right now but I hope that if I get some interest I can design some more items and help support the developing economy in Kosovo.
