Meet the maker chrissie davies

Hello there! My name is Chrissie and I set up Little Bird Creations when my penchant for collecting all manner of haberdashery got a little out of hand. There's only so many storage solutions a gal can fit into her home!

I studied a related arts degree many moons ago and ended up focusing on my passion for embroidered textiles. Firstly my work is stitched by machine and then finished by hand. Many a day/evening/small hour has been spent happily stitching away, preferably with cuppa, cake and good tunes on the go. I enjoy experimenting with contrasting fabrics, playing with colour and pattern. I work with felt alot as it's relatively sturdy and, even better, doesn't fray - a Godsend!
