Meet the maker Julie Winnard

I love to make things for people to fill that gap where only the right thing will do, or to play around with fabrics, colours and textures to make something gorgeous that makes you go "squee". Sometimes I invent new patterns because the thingummy you want just doesn't exist yet...and because as an engineer, it's nice to combine my artsy and logical sides!

My current favourite crafts are sewing bags and brooches, and assembling craft kits, but I do a wide range of things especially as gifts to my friends. I like to buy from other crafters too!

My inspiration comes from rich colours and textures, the orient and middle east; but also from clean modern funky designs and graphic art.
