Meet the maker Clare Stanger

I along with my husband Martin own a herd of 94 alpacas in Lincolnshire.

Our alpacas are sheared in early summer & after shearing we clean the fleeces & have them processed at an alpaca mini mill in Horncastle. The wool is then knitted into scarves, cowls, hats, gloves & shrugs. Each alpaca fleece is spun individually so we can only make 8-10 items out of each fleece & we do not make more than 3 of any design so this make the items exclusive, our colours are named after their alpaca. Our knitwear comes with a photo tag of the alpaca.

If you are not happy in any way please contact me to rectify the problem. If you are unhappy with your purchase please return within 14 days for a full refund.

If there is a colour & design of scarf you like & it’s not listed please contact me & I may have the wool to make this specially for you.
