Meet the maker Isabelle

Hi there!

My name is Isabelle. I am French (from Antibes) but have been living in the UK on and off for over 25 years. I've discovered Folksy quite recently and am overwhelmed by the amount of lovely creative stuff being made by all of you!

At this stage I am pretty much a buyer, not a seller. However I am learning to sew and knit - therefore am just a beginner but with a view to becoming such an expert that I can one day sell my creations on Folksy also!!!

As far as materials go, I tend to favour modern fabrics with geometric patterns, retro 50s designs, but also cutesy colourful creations. As a beginner knitter, I go for handspun yarns (usually thick therefore easy to use). I get very bored by "conventional" yarns similar to those my grandmother might have used, so tend to go for unusual materials/combinations.
