Meet the maker Angela Blaney

Hi I'm Ange, right from a little girl I have always enjoyed crafts. My Nan used to make the musical boxes from Women's Own magazine and I loved helping her. From there I tried knitting , tapestry, cross stitch and by the time we did sewing at school I was already proficient with a sewing machine. Over the years I've made clothes, curtains cushions and dressing up costumes for my kids, usually making up the pattern too. More recently I've tried my hand at card making, and am currently enjoying making jewellery and beaded accessories. I've discovered how to recycle old magazines into paper beads, and then how much fun it is making your own beads from polymer clay. I love having something to do in the evenings and find it very theraputic just making things.
