Meet the maker Caroline Byrne

My interest in soap making evolved from my passion for aromatherapy. I love blending and creating aromas to influence the mood. As an advocate of natural soap, I decided to put the two together and embark upon training and certification in traditional Cold Processed Soap Making. Cold processed soap is made by combining fats such as Olive oil, with an alkaline solution (lye) to create a glycerine rich new product - soap! This evolutionary process takes at least 4 weeks to complete, during which time the soap is hand-cut, racked and cured in preparation for your use. For me, the really exciting aspect of the soap making process is the complete originality - every batch is totally unique! The possibilities for new recipes, blends, designs are endless... I will certainly endeavour to add to my current product range. My main priority, however is to always continue to produce soap of a high quality for you to enjoy!
