Meet the maker Julie Sloan

Welcome to Glazed Expressions. All my items are lovingly handcrafted in Cheshire using stained glass techniques (either traditional leaded stained glass or “Tiffany-style” copperfoil). In every case it is the expression of my creative ideas using beautiful glass to capture light and reflections. Many of my designs stem from trips to the countryside, seaside or from my love of gardening.

My Folksy store includes quirky sun-catchers, unique Christmas decorations and larger framed items - take a look to find something to match your décor or as a gift to suit your loved-one’s taste. If you see something that provokes an idea, ask me and I can tweak a design just for you – a different colour or size, for example.

Payment: is only by Paypal (or via Paypal with your credit/debit card). Please pay for your items within 48 hours, otherwise I will have to re-list the item.

Cancellation: once payment has been made, your purchase cannot be cancelled (unless shipment has not yet been made - please email urgently to check).

Despatch: I aim to despatch within 2 working days of receiving payment. The item will be shipped to the address registered on your Folksy account so please make sure this is up to date. If you would like it shipped to another address, please let me know by email and I can include a message to your recipient to tell them who the gift is from.
I use Royal Mail Second Class and wrap carefully with cardboard, bubble wrap/foam chips etc. I often recycle jiffy bags/cartons to keep P&P charges to a minimum for you.
For Special Delivery or International Delivery, please ask me for a quote.

Returns: If you are dissatisfied in any way please contact me and I will try to resolve it. If a return is necessary, postage to return items is at your cost and must be done within 7 days of delivery.

Refunds: items will only be refunded if the item arrives back in saleable condition - please pack very carefully. Refunds via the original payment method.
