Meet the maker

After 35 years as an educator I am thrilled to be able to return to creative work, which I haven't done since I was a magazine designer and art director back in the 1980s! I am experimenting with different media—at the moment with beads, which are entirely new to me. I began buying beads and supplies on Etsy, which a friend recommended to me, earlier this year, but did not know about Folksy, which I am delighted to discover. The international designers on Etsy have inspired me and now It's great to see such fine work from UK artists. I hope to learn more about British designers and design communities. No doubt Folksy will help me get there. Thanks!
