♥ A warm welcome to my little corner of Folksy! Girl Of The 80's was established in 2010 in the U.K by me, Ellen. ♥

About
♥ I have been making jewellery of some kind now ever since I discovered a mixed bag of beads in my stocking one Christmas! I began making sweet little charm bracelets, earrings and necklaces from beautiful glass beads and gems I had collected over the years. These I began to sell at markets and fairs in 2009 whilst also working full time as an analytical chemist (odd combo I know!). It all became a bit hectic and so in late 2009 I decided to follow my passion and create my designs full time. The kitsch, fun and retro designs I have here didn't really sit well with my original jewellery and so Girl Of The 80's was born. I really enjoy travelling to far off countries and when away I love to seek out unusual and different items I can use to create my jewellery. I like to be different and I hope you will too! ♥

Payment
♥ Purchases should be paid for using Paypal. It's free and easy to set up and means you can pay with a credit or debit card, your Paypal account or an e-cheque. Payments via Paypal should be made within 24 hours of purchase. If this is not possible or you would like to pay via another method then please contact me prior to placing your order. Your order will be cancelled if payment has not been received within the 24 hours ♥

Shipping
♥ Orders are shipped 1-3 working days after payment has been received. They are shipped via Royal Mail 1st class delivery and Royal Mail Airmail. Royal Mail 1st class aims to deliver within 1 day. Royal Mail Airmail is from 5 days. If you would like your parcel to be tracked and/or signed for please contact me for a postage quote. Multiple items will be gift wrapped and shipped together to minimise the P&P costs to you. If you require seperate wrapping and/or shipping then just let me know. ♥

Refunds & Exchanges
♥ If for whatever reason you are not satisfied with your purchase please email me within 7 days of receipt for an alteration, exchange or refund. For returns the initial cost of P&P is also refunded but does not include the cost of returning the item except for if the item arrives faulty. Items must be returned unused and in the orignal packaging. Only then will an exchange or refund be offered. Please note that earrings cannot be returned unless faulty for hygiene reasons. Custom orders are also not refunded or exchanged. If you would like anything altering prior to shipping then just send me a message when you check-out. It's completely free of charge! ♥
