Meet the maker Andrea Brewster
I collect the driftwood mainly from beaches at Fleetwood and Cleveleys but whenever I am on holiday I always look for any suitable pieces of wood and have brought boat shaped wood back from Peru and Cyprus in the past. I love taking unusual pieces of wood to discover what type of boats they might make.
I visit charity shops looking for second hand jewelry which can be used to decorate the boats and use old/interesting buttons or any with a nautical theme.
Some of the ceramic pieces which decorate the boats are made by me.
Important Information
These boats are not suitable as toys for children due to small parts.
