Meet the maker Rebecca Martin

I'm Becca & I have been crafting, drawing, making things & painting since I could. As a child I made some interesting things, like a limousine out of card board boxes & tape, shoes out of kitchen paper & tape & a troll’s house out of card board, material & tape [My dad worked in a tape factory & brought home a wonderful assortment]. I made up clubs & gangs because I loved the Secret Seven by Enid Blyton and I turned my room into a detective’s office. I also had a few dens.. busy kid!

I did Art & Graphic Design at School and Art & Design at College plus a collection of other mini courses in art related subjects like life drawing. My dream is to have a little craft shop and sell my wares, I really enjoy selling online and as long as I am making people happy with my crafts and art then I am happy.

I am quite eclectic with my choice of craft, I would like to know how to do all crafts but so far I know 'quite a lot'. I pretty much make them up as I go along and self teach, so the outcome is like a rough diamond. :)

Crochet, knitting, sewing, paper crafting, clay using, decoupaging, jewellery making, painting, mixed media are some of the things I dabble in!
