Meet the maker Catherine Cronin

I make handmade original prints, themed often on encounters with natural and urban environments. I want to place the reader of my work in a particular moment, to prompt an emotional response as well as thoughtfullness in the viewer. I hope the work brings a pause for thought, a lightness of spirit, an escape from the busyness of modern life that can be overwhelming.

I have been making and exhibiting artists’ books, multiples, prints and mixed media since completing a degree Ba (Hons) Print Media Book Arts & Craft in 2001. My work is held in private and public collections.
