Meet the maker Carol Smalley

Hi,
I have been making jewellery for many years and couldn't think of a better way to spend my time. I get my inspiration from everything around me. When walking my dogs in country parks and through woods mother Natures is a big help.

Spring and Autumn themed jewellery is what I love making. For Spring I love making flower jewellery and replicating the beautiful daffodils along with all the other numerous spring bulbs.

My Autumn designs are themed around blackberries and there white flowers, acorns and the different colours of berries adorning the different tree species.Lucite flowers work well to make these designs. But, I also like working with wire, gemstones, glass, crystal, wood, resin, acrylic, polymer clay and shell.

When time allows, I make beads and flowers with polymer clay, I also make kumihimo braids, gizmo coils and my own findings. The wire used to make findings is hypo allergenic and resistant to tarnishing.

In 2010 I won a summer pastures jewellery competition and some of my designs have been and continue to be published in Bead and Jewellery magazine.

I only ever make one of each item. So, you can be sure that what you purchase is unique.

I am also available for custom made jewellery, please get in touch with your ideas.

Should you see anything in my shop that you like, but it's not quite what you wanted, please email me with your preferences. I will always help where I can.

I only accept payment via paypal. Once payment has cleared, all purchases will be either gift boxed or wrapped in tissue paper and come inside a colourful organza bag. Each listing will state how the items will be sent out. Items will then be posted out in a jiffy bag.

Postage rates are at the bottom of each item in my shop. Please note I now ship world wide.

Should your purchase not be to satisfaction, please return within seven days for a refund. For hygiene reasons I cannot accept earrings unless faulty. All jewellery is checked before posting.

Thank you for taking the time to look around my shop. Should you decide to buy, I hope you will be happy with your purchase.
