Meet the maker Carol Smalley

I've been making jewellery since 2005. I am self taught. Every item I make is one of a kind and unique to the buyer. I have my own craft room which is a spare bedroom. My rescue dog lays on her bed in my room, mostly sleeping. Our home is smoke free. My inspiration comes from everything around me. I love walking my dog in country parks and through woods, Mother Natures a big help.

I love making flower jewellery and replicating the beautiful flowers that grow in the wild and my own garden. Lucite flowers work well to make these designs. I also like working with wire, gemstones, glass, crystal, wood, resin, acrylic, polymer clay and shell.

When time allows, I make beads and flowers with polymer clay, I also make kumihimo braids, gizmo coils and my own findings. The wire used to make findings is hypo allergenic and resistant to tarnishing.

I have had some of my designs published in bead and jewellery magazines as tutorials. I have also won a jewellery competition and came second in another.

I put a lot of love and care into my designs and hope you will love my items as much as I have making them. I hope you like what is on offer in my shop. I accept payment via paypal and Stripe. Once payment has cleared, all purchases will be either gift boxed or wrapped in tissue paper and come inside a colourful organza bag. Each listing will state how the items will be sent out. Items will then be posted out in a jiffy bag.

I post royal mail first class in the UK and international standard to the rest of the world. Postage is free in the UK.

Should your purchase not be to satisfaction, please return within seven days for a refund. For hygiene reasons I cannot accept earrings unless faulty. All jewellery is checked before posting.
