Meet the maker Kate

I have loved taking part in some sort of art all of my life and after school I went on to study art and design at university. The course I completed made me begin to hate art as I felt like I had no freedom to do what I wanted and was required to please the tutors tastes.

I then went on to study my second passion in university - Psychology. I enjoyed it so much but was missing my arty things so I began making jewellery in my spare time which is what I do still today.

I love using sterling silver (which I mainly began using because I am allergic to some silver plated items and thought others may be too), swarovski and semi-precious gemstones.
