Meet the maker

Hi!
I’m Sharon Armstrong creator of bessie blue. I’ve always loved knitting and sewing since I was a little girl, but I never knew what other people thought of my creations, that was until a couple of years ago.
I was planning my wedding and looking for the perfect 1950’s style dress, but it was no where to be found. So I gave up looking and made my own!
All my friends and family were so impressed - my best friend even asked me to make her a vintage style dress for her wedding!
I then started making more and more of my own clothes and accessories. And have since been inspired to create bessie blue and share my designs with the world.
