Meet the maker Hollie Bee

Hi there, my name is Hollie and I am 26. I have been practicing Papier Mache technique since I was young and the fascination has never left me.
I love to get my hands dirty and create unique, frivolous hand crafted items.
I have always been drawn to Mannequins, whether it be a practical model for clothing and jewellery or just for pure decoration, they just have a real traditional aura about them.
Unfortunately, these Mannequins tend to cost a lot of money which deter me from buying.

I had the idea of casting a Mannequin from another Mannequin using the Papier MacheTechnique, but didn't think it would be hard or sturdy enough for it to be classed
as 'good quality'...how wrong I was! I've only used 7-8 layers of newspaper and white paper and what a nice suprise!
The Mannequin is rock hard, sturdy and feels like my original Mannequin. Hallelujah!
