Meet the maker Emma Castle

Originally from the North East of England, I'm a Fashion & Textiles graduate (Nottingham Trent, 2001) & I have been living in Nottingham for the last 11 years with my Fiancé & our two adorable cats Nell & Oliver.

For as long as I can remember I have been creative and even though mostly you will find me making bags & accessories from fabric & felt, there is no genre I'll not venture into to keep my crafty alter ego satisfied. I have what they call a 'Can Do' attitude.

I love to draw, sew, embroider, knit, make cakes, eat cakes, sunny days, photography, drink Rose (that makes me sound as though I have a problem ha ha!), walks on the beach on blustery days, make people smile, Christmas, Birthdays, coffee and spending time with my crafty friends. Oh yes and I love to chat!

I'm very lucky to have my very own home studio, which I have turned into a little crafty haven. Its never a dull day when I'm sitting at my work desk being surrounded by such brightly coloured fabrics, felts, ribbons and buttons. Some say its work, I say its play.

This year I WILL teach myself to crochet, well thats the plan anyway!! :)
