Meet the maker

Hi I’m Rachel of Art & Mabel, I make personalised art prints and handmade gifts for children, families and your home.
I have more than ten years experience as a designer in the fashion and print industry. I have now taken time away from this to look after my two children and have recently started Art & Mabel.
I love the world of handcrafting but also love digital design. I design most of my work on the computer, have my fabrics digitally printed and then hand finish them off. This gives me the opportunity to have lots of colour and print variations.
The fabrics I use are linen and cottons, leather and suede with my own digitally printed 100% cottons, hand finished with either handmade leather buttons or vintage buttons from my button box and a little crocheting.
