Meet the maker Ann Chandler

I was taught to sew at an early age by my very patient grandmother. Since then I have tried pretty much every textile craft going and have dabbled in papercrafts of all kinds too. Bags are my current passion and I am constantly adding new items to my shop.

My dream would be to give up my office job and craft and design full time. Unfortunately, that dream is way off, but in the meantime bag making (and hopefully bag selling!) fulfills my need to be creative and gives me the opportunity to purchase beautiful vintage fabrics without guilt.

Am I the only person who cheers themselves up by looking through their fabric stock and stroking the lovely vintage Japanese silk? Or who always checks out junk and thrift shops on holiday for fabric items that can be given a new lease of life?
