Meet the maker Annie Harris

Shop Information and Policies.

This shop is to showcase my knitted and crocheted items. I also sell hand-dyed yarns at adventuresinwoollyland.co.uk

Caring for woolly items:
Any soiling should be rinsed with cold water as soon as possible to avoid staining.
It is recommended that wool be hand washed carefully with gentle soap or wool wash. Do not soak as this can increase the chance of dye run.
As with any hand-dyed item it is possible that some dye run may occur, particularly with reds and very dark colours. Adding white vinegar to washing water and/or lanolising solution for the first few washes should avoid the colours bleeding into each other and help the dye to become more colourfast.

Shipping information:
Items will be posted within three working days after your order is received, and usually on the following working day. Postage for knitted and crocheted items will normally be charged at the second class signed for small parcel rate. If I manage to squeeze the item into a large letter I will refund the difference.

Returns:
While I hope that you will not experience problems with any of my items, standard returns policy is in effect.
Please bear in mind that the measurements of each item are clearly stated and that my crocheted soakers are much less stretchy than most knitted soakers. For best fit your child's measurements should be 1"-2" smaller than those of the garment.

Safety:
Some of my soakers are supplied with drawcord fastening which is removable so that the rise can be lengthened. Please ensure that you always check it is securely tied and cannot come undone.
If the item is embellished then please check any applique and/or stitching is firmly attached before each use.
When soakers are not being worn they should be kept out of reach of babies and small children!
