Meet the maker

My name is Sunny Warrington. I graduated from Central St Martins in 1996, and worked as a gemstone dealer for three years before setting up as a freelance Jeweller and Pearl Stringer. I have worked with some of the best jewellers in the business, including Stephen Webster and Johnny Rocket, whose Greenwich shop also stocks my own work.
I take inspiration for my designs from many differing sources, and prefer working on one-off pieces for the greater challenge this presents. I have designed for many types of media, including textiles, graphics and ceramics, but it has always been the jewellery, first discovered on a childhood trip to Africa, that has been my greatest love.
I am currently a visiting tutor at the Holts Academy in London’s Hatton Garden, and have also run courses for Nude Contemporary Jewellery in Mayfair.
In the light of this it may seem strange that I have as yet listed no jewellery - I promise it is coming, but the notebooks were something fun that I wanted to do, and have no other outlet for at present.
