Meet the maker Jane Howlett
I was taught to knit by my nanny at the age of 7. She was always knitting, and I am sure if I'd given her steel wool, she would have knitted me a car! I have now been knitting for almost 40 years. Now that my children are becoming more self sufficient, I have a bit more time on my hands in the evenings, and decided that I should share my love of knitting by making items to sell. I would like it think that the skill of knitting has been passed down by generations, and although I haven't taught my own children to knit, maybe one day I can pass on the love of knitting to my grandchildren, when they eventually come along. I hope you like what you see x
