Meet the maker Steph Dekker

I am a designer-maker from the North West of England. I love mixing colours and patterns and can find inspiration in all sorts of areas - nature (particularly birds) retro and vintage fabrics, found objects, children's book illustration and craft books from the 50's,60's and 70's. My favourite pastime is trawling flea markets and boot fairs for unusual items and incorporating them into my work. Everything I make starts out as either a collage in papers and fabrics or a hand drawn illustration which I then use to create my jewellery and prints.
