Meet the maker Connie Heenan

Hi, I'm Connie and I'm the artist behind Trefoil Stained Glass based at St Michael's Mews in lovely, leafy Hampshire. I design, hand-cut, solder and polish all my own designs (as well as sweep the floors and make the tea!) so every piece is 100% hand-crafted by me!

I specialise in the copper foil technique more commonly known as 'Tiffany glass'. It is a meticulous and exacting process but one which I find meditative - my studio is my sanctuary and I'm in my element pottering away, radio on, surrounded by a rainbow of broken bits and a snoozy cat in the corner!

My work is inspired by a smelting pot of nature, folklore and pagan ways as well as the Medieval and Celtic aesthetic synonymous with the Arts & Crafts movement. Illustrated here is a range of current work available to buy now.
