Shop Policies

Payment
UK BUYERS: I accept PayPal or cheques.

If paying with Pay Pal, payment is due 24 hours after you press buy and confirm the purchase with Folksy.

If you would like the option of paying by cheque, let me know and I will change the listing. If sending a cheque, it is required to clear in the bank BEFORE the item is posted to you. This can take up to 7 working days.

Shipping / Postage & Packing
I do my best to make sure items are packaged safely and securely when I post them and obtain a Proof of Postage receipt. Please note, I reuse any packaging I feel is fit to use again, too much is thrown away!

I aim to post on the same day as payment is received - if this is after 4pm GMT then it will be the next day. If the item is a made to order item then this applies to when the item is finished, as stated in the listing for the custom item.

UK BUYERS: Items are sent 1st Class Royal Mail. Packages should arrive no later than 3 working days. Fee includes insurance for up to £36.

EUROPE (EU) Packages are sent Royal Mail Air Mail and should arrive within 7 working days. Shipping fee includes insurance for up to £36. Buyers are responsible for their own customs charges, if and where applicable.

EVERYWHERE ELSE: Packages are sent Royal Mail Air Mail and should arrive within 14 working days. Shipping fee includes insurance for up to £36. Buyers are responsible for their own customs charges, if and where applicable.

EXTRA POSTAL INSURANCE: For packages over the value of £36 you can ask for insurance to cover your purchases at an extra cost. This is completely optional. If you do not ask for extra insurance and your parcel is lost, you will only be covered for £36.

Refunds and Exchanges
Refunds are dealt with on a case by case basis. If you are not happy with your item(s) please contact me [mail@tomatotea.net] within 14 days of my sending the item to you.

Once communication has been established and we have come to an agreeable decision between us, I will request the items are sent back to me (at your own cost) - i expect them to be shipped in the same manner and condition that you received them.

Once the items have been returned and are in the condition you received them in (not used) then i will refund you them items value. Please note you will not receive a refund for the original shipping costs, unless the item was faulty, or the wrong item was sent to you.
