Hi & welcome to my shop, The Funky Hut.
I've always loved creating, and have joined Folksy to share my love of all things vintage & retro.
My aim is to create beautiful handmade items for modern day living. From functional designs too frivolous delights, you can be assured that each item has been made with a great deal of attention & with buckets of love.
I love searching for fabulous fabrics & materials, spending hours dreaming and designing my next creation. To be quite honest it’s become a bit of an obsession!!I find inspiration from every era, from pin-up rockabilly to the pop art of the 60's if it's bright, colourful, bold or just downright quirky I'm all over it!! From Breakfast at Tiffany's to The Rocky Horror Picture Show I love everything from the classic to the cult. I also have a soft spot for retro TV & toys....... who doesn’t love Bagpuss !?!?Each item listed in my shop has been designed exclusively by me, I do not use reproduced patterns to produce my items I always create my own, resulting in a collection that is truly unique.

Terms & Conditions

Payment
All items should be paid for within 3 days of purchase, I only accept Paypal. Please feel free to contact me if you are having any difficulties regarding payment. If payment is not recieved within the 3 day period your order will be cancelled and the item relisted.(Please note that you are able to pay via Paypal with a credit/debit card without having a registered Paypal account)

Packaging
I love to give my creations a professional look throughout. All items are wrapped in bright tissue paper, sealed with a branded Funky Hut sticker & supplied in handmade pouches made from card complete with The Funky Hut logo & branding.

Postage
I always aim to dispatch your item within 1-2 working days of payment. Items are posted via Royal Mail First Class Delivery within the UK only and I always obtain proof of posting.(Please note that all items will be posted to your address listed on the paypal checkout, please ensure that this is the correct address for delivery before confirming your payment)

Returns
I hope you will fall in love with your Funky Hut purchase, however if you are not completely satisfied with the item please contact me within 7 days of receipt. The item must then be returned unused, in its original packaging and in a saleable condition within 14 days of receipt. I will issue a full refund including your original postage costs. Postage for the return of the item will be at the buyers expense.

I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions of my creations (critique is also welcome in small doses!!) so please feel free to message me on receipt of your purchase, this also lets me know its arrived safely.
