Meet the maker Helen Foers

Hello! I'm Helen Foers and I've just moved to Sheffield, South Yorkshire. I love working from my home studio making Storeyshop goodies as well as working as a freelance designer. Spending most days surrounded by piles of card and paper, with scalpel in hand and a big list of orders to cut, is my perfect job!

I live with my beloved Mr Storeyshop, my very elderly chinchilla called Seb (he's 21 years old!) and an ever-growing baby bump!

I gained my degree in Graphic Design from Bath School of Art in 2003 and worked for a couple of design companies and magazines after graduating. I always dreamed of working for myself though, and of being more 'hands-on' with my creating, so decided to go for it and open Storeyshop when I left my last 'proper' full-time job and moved from London to the countryside in 2007. I haven't looked back!

I have been selling on Etsy for over 4 years and have over 3400 sales (woohoo!). Search for 'Storeyshop' on Etsy to have a look through my wider range of items and my 100% positive feedback.
