Meet the maker Leanne de Lima Araujo

With a huge passion for sewing and being creative, over the years I have accumulated a sizeable stash of fabric remnants and beautiful embellishments. Reluctance to throw anything away inspired me to make a few handbags and wow, my scraps had been given a new lease of life! I am so excited that I am now sharing their sense of fun and originality with people like you who share my passion for beauty and quality.

My aim is to be as ethical as possible, so at least 90% of the materials used are rescued from being thrown away and upcycled into something stylish and dependable. Any other materials used are sourced from local small businesses and market traders. I have also discovered that my local charity shops are an absolute treasure trove for fabrics and embellishments to complement my stash!! (And as an added bonus I get to support worthy causes too!!). I also aim to use recycled paper and packaging wherever possible.

Although bags are my main passion, sometimes inspiration takes me in another direction and you may find some other unique items in my shop - keep a look out!!!

When purchasing my items, once payment has been received, I will ship the order within 24hours where possible using Royal Mail first class. Each item is made with great attention to detail. However should you not be happy with the quality of the item, you may return it to my within 7 days of receiving it - the buyer is responsible for the cost of the return postage.
