Welcome to Scissors, needle & thread.

Previously a designer of fashion accessories, I love crafty things and enjoy sitting down with a box of fabrics, ribbons and my trusty sewing machine. I love stationary and cute characters and with new technology comes new fun accessories! I decided to create a range of cute animal characters to keep our gadgets and gizmos safe in style. The range of cute characters is growing and I love introducing new creatures to the shop.

I'm also a big fan of home stores and home accessories. An afternoon mooching around a "nik nak" shop is bliss. Any chance to make something for the home I'm there! We've expanded the range to include home and travel accessories too.

My other half is a fire fighter and collects all sorts of fire memorabilia including old kit. Inspired by the history of the firebrigade, we wanted to give decommissioned kit a new lease of life in a range of unique accessories in our Fire & Rescue range.

All Scissors, needle & thread items are hand made in Britain. I design and make these cute, unique characters at home in Surrey and love to send them off to new homes.

Shipping:

I aim to dispatch items within 3 working days. However, if you would like me to make a design currently out of stock, then please allow up to 7 working days.

Please note we are always conscious of waste and endeavour to recycle where we can. We therefore sometimes reuse mail packets. This also enables us to keep our shopping costs low so we are not having to include the pricey cost of packaging.

Refunds & returns:

Customer satisfaction is important to me and I hope you enjoy your handmade item. However please contact me immediately if you are not happy with your purchase in any way.

When returning an item please ensure it is in it's original condition and obtain proof of postage.

Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. (I cannot refund postage costs unless the item is faulty)
