Meet the maker Sarah Castell

I'm a late 40-something housewife with an adorable hubby and a 15 year old daughter who I love to bits! I work part-time as an administrator and in my spare time I just love to create! I've always been into crafts of one form or another over the years (too many years to think about!) and love trying out different things. Apart from sewing, I'm into reading, genealogy, metal detecting (!) and long walks in the countryside with my family. Anything and everything inspires me....I even spent some time sketching - somewhat surreptitiously - a skirt that a woman was wearing during a train journey because the material was so fantastic! I kept hoping she'd get up so I could see more of it! My poor, patient hubby is used to me suddenly grabbing my notebook from my bag because I've seen something inspirational.....there's no hope for me!
