Meet the maker Angela Townsend

Based in Bedfordshire, I work in leaded, fused and painted glass sometimes producing larger window commissions as well as carefully painted and designed decorations, boxes and panels that will look lovely in your own garden or home or will make an ideal gift for friends and family.

All of my work is hand made by me with a lot of the designs influenced by early embroidery patterns, medieval prints and early glass techniques featuring animals, flowers and mythical beasts. I love to use textured and ancient looking glass, some of which have bubbles and rich colours to set off the black painting.
