Meet the maker
My name is Heather. I've been making jewellery since I was a child, when I was given those little jewellery kits for Christmas, the ones with elastic & plastic beads. These days I'm drawn to crystals, gemstones, handmade artisan lampwork beads and silver. There's no pattern to what I choose, I just buy beads that I like and wait for them to tell me what they want to be made into. But I do have to be careful not to make everything in blue, purple or green!
I share a house in Surrey with a friend and several pets - we have guinea pigs, a rabbit, and a cat. Most of our pets are rescues and they most definitely rule the house. Our home is surrounded by trees and common land which look different every day. It is a very restful, calming place.
I like to work with colour and prefer simple designs that show the beauty of the beads. I love Art Nouveau and some Art Deco, and if I ever win the Lottery I am going to treat myself to lots of Edwardian jewellery. I love the lightness of their designs and the way the jewellery is intricate but not over the top.
All my jewellery comes gift boxed and is sent post-free in Great Britain and Ireland by First Class Recorded Delivery.
If you are not happy with your purchase, or if you simply change your mind, please return the items to me within seven days of receipt, unworn and in the original packaging, for a full refund. I'm afraid earrings cannot be returned unless faulty, for hygiene reasons.
I try to make jewellery that is sometimes dainty, sometimes feminine but always, I hope, simply pretty things to wear and enjoy.
