Meet the maker Vicky

Hi and welcome to my shop. My name is Vicky. Do you see that gorgeous little man in my avatar? That's my son, and he's the reason I started making handmade soaps. He was born with eczema and asthma. Despite following doctor's orders, his allergies didn't improve, and I realised that the chemicals in my home from commercial bath and cleaning products were irritating his skin. I began to look for alternatives to harsh chemicals. After lots of research and reading, I started producing my own products. Some things smelt so delicious and felt so lovely, I wondered if other people might enjoy them as much as my family and I do. Northern Naturals was born.

My mission:

to make mostly vegan and always vegetarian soaps;

to never test on animals (unless you count my husband, two kids, and the ever-growing number of willing friends and family!);

to use high quality ingredients, avoiding synthetics whenever possible;

to use organic and fairtrade ingredients when I can source them;

to limit waste.

My soaps have been safety assessed and meet EU standards. If you don't see exactly what you're looking for, contact me. I love the challenge and creativity of making custom items and commissions.

My Policies

I will exchange your product or refund your money for items lost in transit or which are misrepresented in my shop.

Orders are posted by First Class Post on Wednesday Mornings and Saturday Mornings. I will always send a message letting you know your order has been shipped.
