Meet the maker Alison Brown
Welcome to Miss Winnie Makes
My name is Alison Brown and I live on the west coast of Scotland where Miss Winnie HQ is based.
I love all types of sewing and knitting and having made many items in the past as gifts for friends and family I thought I would give Folksy a try!
I make accessories for you and your home and am inspired by many different styles, although shabby country and vintage are among my favourites. I try to create unique items that will inspire your friends to ask – where did that gorgeous item come from?!
My sewn items are mostly made with a combination of machine and hand sewing and will often include hand embroidered details. I try to source lovely fabrics and would not sell anything that I wouldn’t love in my own home.
My knitted items are all handknitted and I use a variety of yarns, including upcycled yarns from charity shop finds!
I post all items by 1st class ordinary post.
I am happy to provide custom orders if desired, simply contact me via the ask shopkeeper a question link to discuss.
